As we were informed last summer, after the conclusion of Rex 8, the Italian television station Rai has decided to stop producing the series, so a petition was created. Despite having passed 1,200 supporters, it did not change the situation: dozens of comments, hundreds of people were invited to leave their signature, but the result was not achieved.
About this matter, the official Facebook page of Dog's Life wrote this statement:
"Dear friends,
it is with deep regret that we inform you that at present there are no plans for a new series of adventures of Rex.
We are very sorry that our police dog can no longer stop the bad guys and make justice triumph on television screens of many countries of the world.
But we want to thank you for the affection you have shown to our, and your, Rex.
Thank you again!
Dog's Life television productions."
